Absolutely stunning when the pitcher plants are blooming. Also. The longleaf pines are gorgeous!
A hidden gem without its own interstate exit. Especially mentioned in Lonely Planet, and for a reason. Must see and only 10 minutes from the Interstate.
The paths are well maintained. Lots of things to see. We enjoyed our walk.
In the late 1980s I visited several times, & the bog is a priceless Alabama treasure. At the time I knew of only two similar locations in Baldwin, neither protected or nearly as large. Only the white Florida pitcher grew at one location.
