Been there several times BC its the one near me, and ever time I'm displeased with the service. A few times including tonight we waited for 30 minutes to be noticed by a waitress/ waiter and had to sit at a dirty table; BC that was all that was available. I would not recommend going here at night or even late afternoon. Tonight we never even received drinks and left after 30 minutes of sitting at a dirty table and honestly won't be back!
This particular Waffle House, in Bay Minette, was bad. The eggs had pancake batter in them to make them fluffy. It made them taste bad. Very bad. The bacon was burned and nearly inedible. Hashbrowns were cold, over cooked and tastless. I won't stop there again.
This use to be one of the better waffle houses. Must of changed management restaurant is appearing dirty and food is not served all at once and not cooked as requested.
Order was not rite had to send food back and still came back wrong. Rude staff. Funny taste to O.J. don't think machine has been cleaned for a while.
That being said, get hungry for some greasy spoon food...then that's the place to go.
Place is okay. But, I can't get past a cleanliness issue. The waitresses pick up dirty dishes from tables, throw away used napkins, wipe counters, then pick up plates of food to take to customers, without ever slowing down to wash their hands.
Also, watched them clean the floor behind the counter, late one night, with a water hose and mop. Water splashing up on dishes and condiments behind the counter.
